Why do people continue to refer to Samuelson as an economist (not people around here, obviously)? He's no more an economist than I am; he's just been spouting off about the economy long enough that publishers assume he knows something about the subject. The fact that he was correct in his previous column regarding long-term health costs was an aberration. It was just a matter of waiting for his next column to prove he was still an ignorant ass. - S.
